The reservoir, called the Bieszczady Sea, is a paradise for lovers of water sports, recreation and relaxation.
Lake Solina is an attractive place for water sports enthusiasts - canoeists and sailors, especially for those who prefer high variability of winds. A dozen or so sailing centers and marinas have been established along the lake shore. Virtually all of them offer the possibility of renting water equipment: kayaks, boats, water bikes and yachts. The reservoir also serves as a bathing beach, and the less active can relax on the beaches in Polańczyk and Jawor, and walk along the tourist paths sometimes along the shore. There are three islands on the lake: the Big Rocky Island and the Small Island called the Zajęcza Island, and the Periodic Island that emerges only when the water level is extremely low.
A popular attraction of Lake Solina are also cruises on the ships of the Bieszczady fleet. A rich accommodation, gastronomic and entertainment base has developed around.
